Ryann O’Toole is a professional golfer currently competing on the LPGA Tour and recent winner of the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open.
A California girl by birth and background, O'Toole was born in Agoura Hills, California. As a young girl, she split her time between the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course, sharpening her skills with the golf club, and the local beaches, where she also developed a passion for surfing and wakeboarding.
She graduated from San Clemente High School in 2005 and went on to compete collegiately at UCLA where she recorded 12 Top 10 finishes during career and set the course record at Colwood Golf Club in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, with a 66. O'Toole graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in sociology.
O'Toole turned pro in 2009, joining the Futures Tour and competing in eight events. She participated in the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament ("Q-School") in December in an attempt to earn membership on the LPGA Tour for 2010, but failed to qualify.
Undaunted, she returned to the Futures Tour in 2010, competing in 16 events, winning twice, and finishing 7th on the official season-ending money list. She also played in her first LPGA tournament in August 2010 when she received a sponsor's exemption to the CN Canadian Women's Open in Winnipeg.
O’Toole joined the LGPA Tour full-time during the 2011 season, a year highlighted by her fifth place tie at the Safeway Classic. The season was capped by O’Toole’s selection to the U.S. Solheim team as one of captain Rosie Jones’ Captain’s Picks. O’Toole represented the U.S. well with a 2-0-2 record.
In 2011, O’Toole also appeared as a cast member on the Golf Channel’s reality show “The Big Break,” in which aspiring young golfers competed for exemptions to selected tournaments or tours.
Most recently, O’Toole enjoyed three Top 10 finishes during the 2016 LPGA season and climbed 16 spots in the player rankings. She is presently looking forward to the start of the 2017 season which tees off January 23, 2017, with the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic at the Ocean Club, Paradise Island, Bahamas.

A health and fitness enthusiast and fervent proponent of the health benefits of golf, O'Toole was named as a Global Ambassador to the Golf & Health Project in 2016.
